Diesel Secondary Containment Area

Application - Repair the concrete floor, put in a drain and coat to protect against a Diesel spill.

Problem - The building containing the Diesel tank had cracks in the floors and containment walls.  This is preventive repair to protect the environment. 

Solution -Clean and degrease the floor and walls in the containment area.  Put in new drain and repair damaged areas using Belzona 4911 conditioner and Belzona 4131 Magma Screed.  Conditioned the floor area with Belzona 4981 and repaired with Belzona 4181 by using a trowel to put it down.  Finished, by coating the walls with two coats of Belzona 5811.

Product Detail – 

Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner) - A two-component thixotropic resin system with excellent adhesion to masonry and metallic surfaces. It's used for conditioning metallic and masonry surfaces prior to application of Belzona 4000 Series products.

Belzona 4911 -

Belzona 4131 (Magma Screed) - A non-porous, 2-part epoxy repair composite designed for resurfacing and protecting large areas of concrete, stone and many other surfaces. This solvent free material provides excellent chemical and abrasion resistance and protection from impact and environmental attack.

Far stronger than concrete, Belzona 4131 (Magma-Screed) can be used as a repair material or to provide an extra strong top layer to existing concrete areas.  In addition, it meets the USDA requirements for incidental food contact as it offers a safe and hygienic surface.

Belzona 4181 (AHR Magma Quartz) - A 3-part epoxy repair composite designed for the repair, resurfacing and protection of concrete and stone subject to impact, abrasion, heat and chemical attack. This material provides outstanding acid and heat resistance and is ideally suited for horizontal surfaces, as well as vertical surfaces up to a thickness of 6mm (¼ inch.)              

Belzona 4181 (AHR Magma-Quartz) is a solvent free repair composite which is supplied as a base, solidifier and separate aggregate, that when combined forms a trowelable consistency to rebuild damaged surfaces.

Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade) - A 2-part epoxy coating which provides outstanding chemical resistance and protects equipment operating under immersion in aqueous solutions up to 50°C (122°F) from the effects of corrosion. This solvent free material can be easily applied by brush or spray to virtually any metallic and non-metallic surface, simplifying maintenance works.

Belzona 5811DW2 (DW Immersion Grade) is a variant of Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade) approved by WRAS and NSF for contact with potable water.
