Weeping Hole Drain Repair

Application - Plug and repair weeping holes and damaged concrete in drains.

Problem -  Client contacted us about weeping holes in the drains in the mechanical rooms that were leaking into the sub-floor and leaking through to the floor below.  The weeping holes were 1” pipes with eroded concrete around them, four per drain.  

Solution - Cleaned and mechanically prepared the drain. Packed the weeping holes with backer rod and applied Belzona 1111 Supermetal to the concrete and weeping holes.

Product Detail - A 2-part repair composite for metal repair and resurfacing based on solvent free epoxy resin reinforced with silicon steel alloy. This repair material will not corrode and resists a wide range of chemicals. It is easy to mix and apply without the need of specialist tools and can be machined using conventional tools.
